  • The Battle of Long Tan, Vung Tau, Vietnam
    Upon arrival in Long Tan, visit the Long Tan Cross Memorial, a tribute to the soldiers who fought and died in the Battle of Long Tan in 1966. Walk through the battlefield area, guided by your knowledgeable tour guide, who will share stories and details about the battle. Explore the nearby areas, where you can learn about the humanitarian efforts undertaken by the Australian forces in the region, gaining insight into the positive impact of the school and Australia's connection to the area. Great trip with a great local guide with supreme knowledge of the history of the battle of Long Tan. Our guide Tuan was a veteran of the Vietnam war himself giving enormous credibility to his tales.

Big thanks to Sunny and Metabu. Very friendly, and professional. Sunny offered lots of general local information to help visitors to understand Vietnamese people and culture. Metabu is an excellent and safe driver.
