    Around 7:45am, depart from Ho Chi Minh City. Start your journey and enjoy the peaceful countryside scenery on the way to My Tho. Your first stop is the Vinh Trang Pagoda. You will be exploring this beautiful Buddhist temple complex known for its intricate architecture and serene atmosphere. Take some time to appreciate the tranquil surroundings and the cultural significance of the pagoda.

  • Tien Giang Province, Vietnam
    After visiting the temple, head to the nearby pier, where you'll board a traditional Mekong Delta boat for a scenic cruise on the Mekong River. As you embark on this journey, you'll be captivated by the lush greenery and bustling river life. Continue your exploration by riding a traditional sampan boat through the narrow waterways with coconut palms lining both sides. This up-close experience allows you to appreciate the unique ecosystem and local way of life. Stop at a bee farm, savor honey tea, taste local fruits and enjoy traditional music performed by the villagers and learn about the daily life of the locals.

  • Ben Tre, Ben Tre, Vietnam
    Enjoy a local lunch with Vietnamese dishes (vegan food available) After lunch, we take a boat trip to Ben Tre - known as the coconut kingdom - a charming town that is famous for its coconut plantations, fruit orchards. You can take a leisurely bike ride through the countryside. Learn about how coconut products are produced in the region. Around 3:00pm head back to Ho Chi Minh City. The drive back takes around 1,5 hours, giving you plenty of time to relax and reflect on your experiences of the day.

We had a great day out. We are 2 families travelling together with 2 children aged 11, and we were kept entertained through the day. Our guide Tony was knowledgeable and friendly, and told us about Vietnamese history, culture and customs. He also bought sugar cane juice for us to try. We visited a temple, and 3 islands looking at bees, an anaconda, we went on bikes and canoes, tried local fruits, chocolate, honey, coconut and snake liquor. We decided to upgrade to a private tour which I’d recommend if you are travelling as a group as it was considered and we could be flexible with the timings. All in all, a lovely day.

It says hotel pickup provided, they will tell you at the last minute no hotel pickup. You’ll have to wale up extra early and make your own way to their office.

Varied tour with different stops. Not too much time in bus or minivan, which is good! Thumb was a good and energetic guide, thank you to him! Coconut visit, bike on island, Mekong crossing were my favorites. Biking on island could be a little longer! The small trip on small boat with villagers, on a small canal - river, is really nice but the villagers can be heavy on tips demand...
