  • Cu Chi Tunnels, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
    9:00 am: You will arrive at the Cu Chi Tunnels site before the majority of larger bus tours arrive. Watch a brief introductory ‘propaganda’ video to the Cu Chi area. 9:00 am: Explore the tunnel site, which includes weapon and booby trap exhibitions, navigating authentic Viet Cong tunnel, visiting different underground bunkers (kitchens, meeting rooms, ammunitions etc.), a firing range and much more. Try the local cassava root that sustained Viet Cong fighters for years. 11:00 am: Enjoy a delicious traditional Vietnamese lunch by the river, consisting of authentic fried spring rolls, chicken and beef dishes and soup. 11:30 am: Say goodbye to Cu Chi Tunnel and return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Well worth the early morning start, we beat all the other tours and had the place almost to ourselves. The boat trip gave us a different view of Vietnam, and the breeze was refreshing. Our guides were informative and helpful with information. Lunch was included and was very tasty. We returned to HCMC with time to explore other sights on our itinerary

We had the most fantastic time on this tour - recommended by another family. Speed boat means cutting the queues and seeing the tunnels without hoards of tourists . But the tour was made by our guide - Kha - who was a wealth of knowledge about the war and the impact on the people . He was humble and respectful of the loss of life and made our tour so special . Thank you so much Kha!

Amazing morning/afternoon out with Tony our guide! The speedboat for my 5 young kids was great to keep them entertained rather than a bus or car and when we got there it was quiet before all the rest of the tourists came so it made it a whole lot easier for us!! Very interesting and so much to learn but in a very easy way!
