    Meet your guide at your accommodation at 5:30 PM and depart right away on the back a motorbike. Get ready to experience the the insane Vietnam traffic! The only thing that really stands between you and some awesome vegan food is the ‘daily-dice-with-death’ traffic situation, but don't worry your guide is an experienced driver and will calmly lead you through the traffic. Your first stop is in District 3, a hip new spot with relaxed, historical environment all around. Here you’ll kick the tour off with a famous story about a Vietnamese Mahayana Buddhist monk who burned himself for protesting the persecution of Buddhists by the South Vietnamese government. After learning about the history of the people of Saigon, head up to a local vegan restaurant, a calm spot combined with nostalgic vibes, where you’ll savor "Banh Xeo" - vegan Vietnamese rice pancake served with fresh vegetables and vegan "fish sauce". Coming over District 10 then going off-the-beaten path and diving into Saigon’s deep-rooted culture. Visit a true maze of the biggest wholesale flower market and a local market inside to have an authentic local experience in hidden alleys by grilling banana crispy crackers and local hangouts that you should not miss out on. Don’t get too comfy among the cushions as we’ve got to hurry to experience the highest pagoda of the city "Viet Nam Quoc Tu" located in a quiet space with its spectacular architecture before closing! From there, cross the road to the most famous restaurant of Saigon to sample vegan food fares. At the peak of culinary innovation, let your senses run wild with carefully planned Vietnamese dishes featuring sustainable ingredients and sip on your old-fashioned water or vegan beer and Vietnamese rice wine which is distilled in Street Food Man Vinny's village. Drive to District 5 and pass the local streets of the night life. Take a spin around on the journey along the banks of the Saigon River in District 4 - The perfect time to cross the bridge to Saigon’s bustling night scene. We had an absolutely amazing experience on our Saigon Street Food Man bike tour! We were three friends paired with three fantastic guides — Thuy, Tessie, and Kha — who made the evening unforgettable. They took us to several delicious street food spots and thoughtfully accommodated our vegetarian preferences and restrictions, even last-minute ones, with so much care. Beyond the food, they showed us fascinating parts of the city — the Burning Monk statue, oldest apartment buildings, flower market, and more — giving us a true glimpse of Saigon’s local life. They were always smiling, energetic, and made us feel completely safe as we navigated the lively streets. Every dish we tried was incredible, and their warmth and enthusiasm made the whole experience so special. I highly recommend Street Food Man tours — and especially Thuy, Tessie, and Kha — for anyone looking for an authentic, fun, and memorable way to experience Saigon!

My husband and I did our first vegan food tour with Grace & Albert and were so happy we did. We were a bit scared of going on scooters and when it started raining/storming, we were even more scared but let me tell you - it was one of the highlights of the trip. Grace and Albert picked us up, reassured us and were prepared with ponchos. We waited till things settled and off we went. They were such safe drivers and I was comfortable very quickly. We ate an assortment of delicious food and Grace was teaching us so much about the ingredients, the dishes and just Vietnam in general. It truly felt like we were hanging out with friends. I have just finished a wonderful 4 hour vegan food street tour with Eugene from Street Food Tours that was incredible. He is such a lovely person. Besides speeding around Ho Chi Minh City and eating great vegan food in all sorts of places I would never have found, I saw the city from so many different angles. Eugene is so knowledgeable; he has so much information on so many subjects from history to theology to linguistics and the list goes on. This tour was definitely one of the main highlights of my trip. If you come to Ho Chi Minh, definitely look up Eugene and Street Food Tours.
