    Meet your guide at your accommodation at 5:30 PM and depart right away on the back a motorbike. Get ready to experience the the insane Vietnam traffic! The only thing that really stands between you and some awesome vegan food is the ‘daily-dice-with-death’ traffic situation, but don't worry your guide is an experienced driver and will calmly lead you through the traffic. Your first stop is in District 3, a hip new spot with relaxed, historical environment all around. Here you’ll kick the tour off with a famous story about a Vietnamese Mahayana Buddhist monk who burned himself for protesting the persecution of Buddhists by the South Vietnamese government. After learning about the history of the people of Saigon, head up to a local vegan restaurant, a calm spot combined with nostalgic vibes, where you’ll savor "Banh Xeo" - vegan Vietnamese rice pancake served with fresh vegetables and vegan "fish sauce". Coming over District 10 then going off-the-beaten path and diving into Saigon’s deep-rooted culture. Visit a true maze of the biggest wholesale flower market and a local market inside to have an authentic local experience in hidden alleys by grilling banana crispy crackers and local hangouts that you should not miss out on. Don’t get too comfy among the cushions as we’ve got to hurry to experience the highest pagoda of the city "Viet Nam Quoc Tu" located in a quiet space with its spectacular architecture before closing! From there, cross the road to the most famous restaurant of Saigon to sample vegan food fares. At the peak of culinary innovation, let your senses run wild with carefully planned Vietnamese dishes featuring sustainable ingredients and sip on your old-fashioned water or vegan beer and Vietnamese rice wine which is distilled in Street Food Man Vinny's village. Drive to District 5 and pass the local streets of the night life. Take a spin around on the journey along the banks of the Saigon River in District 4 - The perfect time to cross the bridge to Saigon’s bustling night scene. After getting a welcoming breeze from the back of the bike, we’ll finish you off with a sweet treat such as smoothies or a dish of fresh fruit.

Had the most amazing street food tour with Tanya, Van, & Vejo! I am a vegan, and I have a podcast regarding culture, travel, and food. It was very important to me that I have the most knowledgeable and thorough Guides I could find. Street food man tours was absolutely awesome. I experienced and filmed hours with our “team” and feel like we were buddies by the end;) There were 3 of us (including my cameraman) and we could not have asked for a better variety and education regarding street food (vegan street food) in Saigon! I have visited Vietnam five times before this and no my way around Saigon very well. It was incredible to me how many aspects of the city, culture, and food were introduced to me that I did not know. Tanya was the lead and her cultural information (ranging from historical to present day) was excellent. My Vietnamese friends was my co-partner for the tour and podcast and she was impressed by how much the tour covered and explained. I’ve done street food tours in several countries and this is the best. I’m planning on doing one every time I visit Saigon in the future! Definitely do this tour and definitely ask for Tanya, Van & Vejo!

What absolutely amazing experience to see the Vietnamese culture, the food smorgasbord on your doorstep and districts they live in on the back of a scooter. We visited district 3,4,5, and 10 for 9 different meals and drinks. Very knowledgeable, engaging and great fun with team leader Harry and drivers Rachael, Emily and Junc. I would highly recommend everyone to enjoy a street food tour with the team from THE STREET FOOD MAN.

Tour was amazing, outside of food we got to see some really cool spots. Even though we went an hour over time, our tour guides Thuy and Van didn’t make it feel rushed. Their english was great and we spoke on the bike ride between locations which was nice as well. Overall, would highly recommend!
