I will break this review down into parts to make it easier:
TOUR GUIDE - Asher was a really friendly guy. He made sure I was okay throughout the entire night. I felt completely safe with him.
WATER PUPPET SHOW - this was awesome! Despite the fact that it is entirely in the Vietnamese language, the whole performance was entertaining and you can get the gist with the visuals. Plus there is a leaflet before you enter which has the order of show in the English translation. A huge shout out to the puppeteers and the narrators.
DINNER - from here is the reason why this review is only average. First thing to note is that it is a buffet, which is fine. The issue is that the food was left out on dinner plates, not in chafing dishes which meant the food was cold after some time. Also, personally, I do not think keeping food out in the open is a good idea for reasons. Plus some dishes didn't have labels so I had to ask a few times what something was. Not great if you have dietary requirements/food allergies.
CRUISE - there was onboard entertainment in the form of dancers and singers which was nice, but being out on the actual open deck was kind of...boring. You are really just looking at buildings. You do see the saigon skydeck, but because of how basic it looked at night, I didn't notice what it was at first. Plus, the boat was going super slow, apparently because of how big it is.
Overall, I would give this a 3.5 out of 5 because the cruise ship portion of the tour was a bit of a letdown. Better to pay separately to see the puppet show on its own, in my opinion.
