Board the SalBoat, a typical Sorrento fishing vessel of 12 meters with induction kitchen, toilette, shower, music, begin the tour during which you will enjoy breathtaking panoramas. The fishing activity is made up of: fishing rods and you will able to catch fishes like: snappers, breams, mackerels, rock cods, cods, rock fishes, gurnads, conger hills, murex hills, dolphin fishes and others. Who doesn't want to fish has got the possibility to disembark on Capri island with a 2 or 4 hours stop and after the fishing activity, the tour will continue with the visit of Capri coast. Opportunity of a swimming in the crystal clear water of the island and lunch on board with organic food, and italian prosecco. Return to Sorrento in the afternoon.     The Fishing Tour in Capri is made up in this way: departure from Marina grande in Sorrento at 8:30, I will show you all the beauties of the Sorrento coast. Arrived to Capri you can decide to stay on board and fish for about 4 hours or decide to visit Capri for 2 hours and then Fishing for other 2 hours.We will catch bottom fishes.There is Also a swimming stop and lunch on board with organic food by my farm like: salad pasta, eggplants parmigiana, homemade Bread and caprese cake, prosecco, homemade limoncello and soft drinks.Return at about 4:30/5 p.m *Due to the long waiting times, the visit to the Blue Grotto can be done, at the discretion of the client, exclusively by land, during the hours of rest on Capri provided by the tour.  **If you decide to visit Capri there is an extra cost of €5 per person for the Capri landing fee if you want to visit Capri ***Usually the size of the fishes is small/medium but sometimes we catch also big fishes, but this I can't guarantee of course

The trip to Capri with Sal and Anna was amazing! They are so enthusiastic and friendly, it feels like being home. Enough time to explore the island. The lunch was also wonderful (wish I had the recipe of the bread with herbs). Our trip was booked by Zuid Italië Reizen in the Netherlands. Thanks for the great day!

This excursion was great once we got past some initial confusion. We got to spend 2 hours on Capri and 2 hours fishing. So my fiancé and I were both happy.

“Your boat is my boat” said Sal — Sal and Anna made this trip feel like it was “our boat” and they were the bests hosts. Anna, picked us up at our hotel with a great big smile which was an indicator for how the entire trip would go. Don’t be disappointed when you see the boat, it is a fishing boat (well used) not a shiny tour boat, but it makes the experience all the more authentic - which is hard to find in this tourist driven part of the world. The guide was full of information and shared it with magnetic enthusiasm. As the sea gently rocked us back and forth in the most beautiful blue water, we learned about Capri, new and old including a float by famous Italian’s vacation homes like Dulce Gobanna, Georgio Armani. The tour was great, but for me, being able to drop a line in this same blue sea we all swam in, to catch fish was a highlight. We caught several black tuna using a traditional Capri style of trolling (no pole, line in hand jig while trolling) The idea of combining a tour of the island for some and a 4 hour fishing excursion for others on the same tour is genius. Anna and Sal provided lunch for all guests after they returned from their on-island tour. All ingredients were from the family farm and fresh. The dessert baked by one of the family ranks as on of my favorites in Italy. When lunch was served, the fish we caught moments earlier was the main. Course!! Can it get any better? Be prepared for: if you want to stop for swimming bring your own towel and change of clothes for the ride back. Although Anna was quick to clean up any blood from the catch, be aware that it is a fishing trip and don’t bring your Gucci back on board…
