    The tour starts from Colle Bellaria where you can admire both the historical area of the town and the modern buildings. A fantastic spot to take photographs and enjoy a wonderful panorama over Salerno town.

    The tour continues with a visit to the medieval Arechi castle; it offers by far the best view over Salerno. After visiting the museum there will be a complimentary drink coupled with typical local products.

  • Vietri in Italy Ceramiche, Vietri sul Mare, Italy
    Another stop of the tour will be in Vietri sul Mare well known for its colourful ceramics. Here we will see the ceramic rooftop where you will have the opportunity to take photographs and selfies overlooking the Gulf of Salerno and the Amalfi coast. We will stop at the famous ceramic factory where you can admire how traditional ceramic products are manifactured and purchase some memorable souvenirs to take back home with you.

It was a disappointing tour. Our guide was lovely but information on Salerno and the locations was minimal. Instead of an air-conditioned comfortable vehicle, we were taken in our guides car, a small fiat shared with another 2 people. The only site that was worthwhile was the castle which had stunning views and there was no alcohol provided but some home made gelato and a bottle of water.

I would highly recommend this tour of Castello di Arechi and Vietri Sul Mare. Our guide Osvaldo was passionate, knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. The views were spectacular and we had many great photo opportunities. Osvaldo even had a few surprise stops for us which made the day even more special. The tour was about 3 hours in an air conditioned vehicle and we were picked up and dropped off at our door in Salerno.
