I am still amazed at how well I was treated as a customer of CharlieTheTraveler. My North Brazil tour was outlined for me ahead of time which I found especially helpful when I was packing for the trip. I also thoroughly enjoyed the meals that were provided, as they were very authentic which provided a great experience. I never felt like a tourist, as I was immersed in each experience. The town of Olinda had such beautiful architecture and I was very happy to have the tour guides to provide more information on such a historical town.

I hate to have to write such a review, but Charlie the Traveler is totally awful. I paid for the North Brazil tour and received no confirmation of any bookings that he was supposed to make. By 11pm, when I had received nothing and I was scheduled to fly the next morning, I asked him to refund my credit card charge and he also refused to do that. Basically, he kept all my money and sent me none of the bookings he was supposed to make on my behalf. I'd caution everyone reading this to steer clear of Charlie the Traveler.

The consensus I discovered in my research on group tours is that CharlieTheTraveler customers are overall very happy with their experience, according to their reviews online. This made choosing a tour with this company an easy decision. I chose North Brazil as the tour promised a variety of activities. The company held up to all of those promises and gave a five-star tour of a beautiful country. The descriptions of the activities and sites I was brought to do not do the experience justice, as nothing can explain the feeling of snorkeling off of Conceicao or flying over Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. This is a trip I am glad to have taken!
