We drive through the Bavarian Alps with our panoramic windows from our busses, and you see the lake Chiemsee, and we bring you to Salzburg. There you have time to explore the city on your own. We explain the most important points of the city to make your visit unforgettable. Visit the spots from the movie the Sound of Music, like the castle Mirabel. Our guides show you on the map where are the narrow streets, the best spots for pictures discover and help you to find the birthplace of Wolfgang Mozart. Visit the famous Getreidegasse. See the Hohensalzburg, landmark of the city and largest preserved fortress in Central Europe. Just in high-season April-October: We take you through the natural paradise Wolfgang's lake on a boat trip to St. Gilgen in our private boat. From 18th November till 18th December, we have the christmas event at the Wolfgang's lake. On the way back to Munich we pass the Mondsee, scene of the film classic "The Trapp family."

Passengers are handed over a map in English of the city center with marked locations of the sights. Exact information is given by guide. 11:00-11:30 AM Arrival Salzburg, at Bust Terminal: Paris-Lodron-Straße. Departure time is announced by guide. Duration of the stay: approx. 2,5 – 3 hours. Guide offers orientation walk through city center: duration approx. 30 min. Free time at the guests´ own disposal. Time for lunch, sightseeing and shopping. 14:15-14:45 PM Departure from Bus Terminal: Paris-Lodron-Straße in direction to Lake Wolfgang. Ride through Lake Distict: Fuschelsee.

Salzburg, a small big city (laughs). Salzburg is a very beautiful, clean and organized city. It has only 157,000 inhabitants, however, it can concentrate immense points of interest, from medieval fortresses, churches and streets to iconic places of historical films such as Music in the Heart and the acclaimed Mozart. For Mozart the house called Mozart Birthday's Place is the one worth it, unlike Mozart's Residence. The cemetery where the catacombs are also located is very beautiful as well as you can have very good views of the city! The tour from Munich was well done, the guide Elisabeth was very friendly and humorous, explained very well the points of interest of the city, put a good soundtrack and gave very good recommendations. It is necessary to optimize the weather very well and choose 3 attractions to visit as there is no time for more! To emphasize that they can not wait for delays in Salzburg as the city has very restricted rules for tourism and parking! You should taste the Mozart chocolates (they are more expensive and delicious) as well as the local cake that you buy at a hotel near the bus stop, the Sacher.

We were on our honeymoon or familymoon as we called it, as our children came along. This trip was well worth it and we would recommend it to anyone. Elisabeth our tour guide was amazing. Such a lovely lady and the information she can recall is second to none. The driver Hebrew, (apologies if I have got that wrong) is also a great guy and a really good driver. Salzburg itself is beautiful and great for anyone whether your a 'sound of music' fan or not. We enjoyed it that much we intend on going back to Salzburg for a long weekend. If it was possible to give Elisabeth 10 stars, we would.
