Memorable experience! My partner and I greatly enjoyed hearing the regional history from our guide and driver, Johannes. He was fun and helpful, answering our questions during the drive from Salzburg into the mountains. The hour stop in Berchtesgaden was lovely. We explored the shops and stopped for coffee. From there we went to the Salt Mine. The little train ride into the mine was exciting. And we loved the slides! The audio guides were set up well, allowing us to easily follow along in English. The mine tour guide was entertaining and we enjoyed the entire experience, with a few surprises! Would definitely recommend. Johannes was prompt in picking us up after the tour and we had a pleasant drive back to Salzburg.
