By visiting the performance you will be taken back to Mozart’s time. Enjoy an evening likely to have taken place in 1790 - in the Baroque Hall lit by candles, having a dinner based on historical recipes, listening to a concert with musicians in authentic costumes and the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The venue, St. Peter Stiftskulinarium is the oldest restaurant in middle Europe and even Mozart and his family used to dine there. Dress Code: smart casual, admission until 7:15pm

    You are entertained by live opera performances featuring arias and duets from "The Magic Flute", "Figaro' wedding" and "Don Giovanni" as well as "A Little Night Music". During concert breaks you enjoy dinner in one of Europe’s oldest restaurants - St. Peter Stiftskulinarium - first mentioned in a document in 803. This picturesque setting of the candlelit Baroque Hall is located in the heart of Salzburg's old town. The three-course meal is inspired by historical recipes from the 1700s, so you try dishes that you wouldn’t usually make at home. Musicians of the Amadeus Consort Salzburg, consisting of an exquisite chamber ensemble and two opera-singers, all dressed in authentic Rokoko costumes, inspire with a lively and first-class show.

  • Wheelchairs: there is no lift, but wheelchairs can be carried upstairs by staff (no electric, heavy wheelchairs). Please arrive no later than 6:30 pm.
  • Evening starts at 7:30pm, admission until 7:15pm, doors open at 6:30pm, box office is available from 6:00 pm.
  • Late seating ist possible only during intermissions. Early appearance recommended.
  • Seats are at shared tables and will be assigned on the spot

  • Beverages are not included and are to be paid after the performance.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

This has been the highlight of our trip to Munich and Salzburg. The singers and musicians are young and so talented! They sang arias and duets from 4 different Mozart operas. All were dressed in period costumes. The concert/dinner was held in a lovely, candlelit Rococo ballroom. The program started with songs from one opera, followed by the first course, then more singing, then the main course was served, followed by more singing, then the dessert course and finally the last set of songs. The wine list had over 800 bottles to choose from. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. Get the best tickets that you can afford so that you can be close to the stage. It's worth the extra money for this experience. Program starts at 7:30 but get there at least 30-60 minutes in advance.

Amazing! The music was phenomenal in such a special setting. We loved it all. The food was reminiscent of Mozart's time. It was delicious, especially the unique Salzburg dessert. Yum! I took my 3 boys ages 9, 11 and 13 and they absolutely loved it. What a perfect way to experience their first Mozart concert!
