Let’s cut to the chase: this Sound of Music tour in Salzburg isn’t just for musical die-hards. I went in skeptical, left humming “My Favorite Things” like I owed Julie Andrews money. Credit? All Bernhard. Dude’s a mix of Wikipedia, and your coolest history teacher. Think Jimmy McGill (Better Call Saul) if he traded scheming for Salzburg trivia—charm for days, zero BS.

After taking this tour, I felt disappointed. Our host, Bernie, tried to show us everything about the movie, but the experience fell short. Despite the beautiful area, the tour felt unorganized, and the hills didn’t feel as “alive” as expected.
