All in all it was a nice experience, and very fun. I was a little disappointed in the initial reception. We had a ticket for 9 am, and the people there had no idea we were coming. So we just kind of sat there while they got things together. But the people there were very friendly and pleasant.
You get a very basic training video, which is all you need. If you have your own water shoes, bring them, as the selection is a bit thin. You are attended by a guide the entire time. It is essentially an underwater photo shoot and you go from one prop to the next, which is what I expected, so no problem there.
The photos arrived the same day electronically. I was a little disappointed with the quality of the photos as we had done a SCUBA tour nearby the day before and the photos are much better. I think they were using an older GoPro that isn't waterproof, so it was in the plastic case. That seems to have increased the light diffusion a bit. But still, everything went as planned after the initial misstep, and I would recommend it. We were probably in the water 20 minutes or a little more in total. And the photo package is reasonably priced. I believe it was 80 thousand pesos if paid in cash (roughly twenty US dollars).
They also have the video in multiple languages, so that is not an issue.
