If you only had 2 days as a stop over like we did it is a brilliant thing to do as they show you everything and you can get off at different stops to take pictures etc. We were shown all the sights Beverley Hills, Rodeo drive, walk of fame, Chinese theatre, Hollywood sign etc. The driver was really informative and very friendly. I wouldn't rent a car unless you were really familiar with LA as the roads are horrendous and very busy!
