I was in a van of 14 and joe (the tour guide) took us to Muir woods & Sausalito in the morning, which were amazing. Joe was really good, he had been giving very detailed descriptions to the places along of his drive to take us there. Really recommend him to all those who come to SF. And the Muir woods national park tickets were included, I had to pay $15 usd to get in. However, I was kinda expecting a tour to Alcatraz island too becos I paid like €168 euro for the whole day. And I had to pay for my own ticket to Muir woods, no lunch or water provided with this price. Also Unfortunately, I was only given a code to scan on my Alcatraz landing and never got to see anyone else. I was all on my own. It made me feel as if the amount I paid was just for the rides to Muir woods, Sausalito & a drop of at pier 33 to go on the ferry by myself. I mean, joe was amazing, he definitely worth the compliments n the tip I gave in the end. But the tour in general was a bit too expensive. I’d just recommend those travelling in SF to go on Muir woods & Sausalito in the morning with joe. But u can purchase ur own landing ticket to Alcatraz island which saves a lot more money than €168.
