Small groups for a more personalized experience. Convenient pick up and drop off at your hotel within 20km of San Ignacio town. Sit down lunch. Tikal or “Place of Voices” was the largest city of the Maya Classic Period with a population estimated to have been over 90,000 at its peak. An early departure is required for this full-day adventure beginning with pickup at hotel followed by a 20 minute drive to the Western Border of Belize and Guatemala. After crossing the border enjoy a very scenic 1.5 hours’ drive to Tikal. After a fun day of hiking, exploring and learning about the Maya history and culture, the day’s adventure will conclude with a well-deserved delicious lunch.

Great experience from start to finish. Coco was a fantastic guide; friendly, funny, talkative and really knew his stuff. He knew all the best spots to see the things we wanted to see. And Miguel was a wonderful driver. Definitely recommended to anyone looking for this tour.

We were extremely happy with the two tours we did through Cayo - Tikal Mayan ruins and the River tour. Everything was taken care of from start to finish with transportation to the food and the tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely take any tour again through Cayo.

We toured ATM Cave and Tikal, and did cave tubing with Cayo Inland Expeditions. All tours were fantastic. The guides were fun and knowledgeable. Lunch was great every day. We also had them arrange airport transfers and their driver waited with us for more than 3 hours when half of our party of 5 was delayed upon arrival. Overall it was a great experience.
