We will visit the Doka Coffee Estate for a delicious breakfast. Then we will be treated to a coffee tour in an actual coffee plantation where we will learn the ancient techniques used by the experts to produce some of the best coffee in Costa Rica and around the world. The careful process involved in the cultivation, harvesting and roasting of the Golden Bean will then be illustrated, very hands-on, and then we will savor the delectable product. After the coffee tour, we will continue to Poas Volcano National Park, where there is a noticeable change in temperature and exuberant vegetation of the cloud forest. The Poás Volcano, is an active 2,708-metre (8,885 ft) stratovolcano. The crater of the volcano is over a mile across and 1050 feet deep. At the Volcano we will have time to enjoy the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles.

La visite du café était très intéressante mais il est très dommage que nous ayons passé beaucoup trop de temps là bas alors que le ciel était dégagé en début de matinée et que nous soyons donc arrivé trop tard au volcan Poas. On a pu voir le volcan 10 min seulement et impossible de voir la lagune car nous étions dans le brouillard. Vraiment décue!

날씨가 정말 중요하다. 꼭 날씨를 체크하고 투어에 참여하길... 아랫쪽은 비가 오지 않았지만 포아스 화산에는 비가 많이 왔고 때문에 화산을 전혀 보지 못해 아쉬웠다. 특히 비를 피할곳이 많았는데도 불구하고 가이드는 모든 사람들을 빗속에 세워두고 모든 설명을 했는데 이런 것들이 조금 이해하기 힘들었고 배려가 없다고 느꼈다.
