Highly informative and great foodie experience. Learn about Mexican history and food origins while trying out superb local restaurants. Go on a fasting stomach to accommodate the amount of delicious offerings. Learned a great deal and highly recommended!

Our evening food tour was one of the highlights of our visit to San Miguel. We enjoyed five dishes (from tortilla soup to dessert) in five different restaurants. All of the dishes were first-class: delicious, well-presented, and served in generous portions. They were also creative, including a very tasty jicama taco and a stuffed pepper that stands head and shoulders above anything we've had in Texas. Our guide Elisa was friendly, hospitable, informative, and conscientious. One person on the tour was a vegetarian and Elisa made the necessary adjustments for her dishes without missing a beat. Each course was accompanied by wonderful non-alcoholic beverages that complemented the dishes nicely. We give this tour our highest recommendation and hope that you will not miss the opportunity to enjoy it when you are in San Miguel.
