There is a taxi stand on the plaza, and the food and artisan markerts are right around the corner. Or an easy 5 minute walk back to the main square.

Vail was excellent. She is so knowledgeable and made our food tour the highlight of our trip! Everywhere we went was way beyond my expectations. I would go again - I mean I WILL go again - whenever there is the opportunity to visit SMA. The restaurants were beautiful and the food delicious. I cannot say enough about Vail - she was a joy!

Our tour with Vail was wonderful! She is very knowledgeable (and passionate) about Mexican history and culture. She has a background in teaching, and really knows how to keep kids engaged. My boys, ages 10 and 12, loved the scavenger hunts and fun quiz competitions. The adults in our group were equally engaged. We all had a great time, and really enjoyed our included ice cream break. Vail’s enthusiasm and passion are contagious. We loved our time with her so much that we signed up for her nighttime Spirits of San Miguel tour. My kids wanted to hear all about the legends and ghost stories of the area. Highly recommend both tours! Thank you for an unforgettable experience, Vail!
