Omar was an excellent guide and his personal ity made for an entertaining and educational tour. This one of the top activities I would recommend while visiting SMA.

Omar, our guide, shared a history of Mexico, San Miguel de Allende and its foods. From how tacos came about to other items. He paced our tastings beautifully and they were delicious. A tomato soup with queso fresca, guacamole, next stop, chicken enchiladas with a rich mole, another sit down with a wonderful chicken enchilada with veg and a cheese (quite beautiful), on to an interesting array of Helado choices from a street vendor, and last a warm churro camera. Yum!

Omar was very knowledgeable about the history of San Miguel and the food here. I’ve been to San Miguel many times and I still learned things from Omar! Definitely a great tour!
