Led by wine experts with 40+ years in the wine industry, we will visit wineries based on your wine preferences. We skip the Wine 101 production tours and give you all the wine region information on the way to each winery. Once at the wineries, you can relax with your food and wine and just enjoy the view. You get to choose the wines you want to drink. Each person gets two full glasses of their wine preference at each of the three wineries.

Traveler pickup is offered

We will pick you up from your hotel or Airbnb in either San Miguel de Allende for Guanajuato wineries or Queretaro for Queretaro wineries. You have the option of returning to your hotel or being dropped off at a place for dinner.

    Explore the second largest wine region in Mexico. Led by wine experts with 40+ years experience in the wine industry, we will visit three wineries based on your wine preferences. European-style wines dominate this region with refreshing acidity. We skip the Wine 101 production tours and focus on the exceptional European-style wines. Between wineries, we will give you information on why this region is special and the unique cooperation and projects the wineries are working on together. Wine tasting of 3 wines at each of the three wineries we visit. Food is not included, but you will have time to eat at the wineries. This tour starts in San Miguel de Allende for SMA wineries, or in Queretaro for Queretaro wineries. Pickup will be at your hotel or Airbnb.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Tim was an excellent guide. Beautiful wineries, delicious food and great information on delicious wines. You’ll go to several independent vineyards and it’s a very customizable tour. It was a wonderful part of my SMA trip.

My husband and I are from California and are very enthusiastic wine drinkers. We were new to the Queretaro wine region but wanted to start exploring the region's wine offerings. Tom and Tiffany took us on a tour that included 3 wineries with glasses of wine at each, a fantastic lunch at one of the wineries and a stop at one of the Pueblo Magicos. The tour was great! They picked us up at our home and brought us back at the end of the day and tailored the perfect tour around our wine preferences. The best part was their extensive knowledge of the wines at each winery. After talking to us about what varietals of wines we liked, they recommended wines at each place. They were never wrong! The only wine we didn't care for of all the wines we tried was the one that I insisted on trying (although they tried to warn me!) I highly recommend Heart of Mexico Wine Tours. They customize the perfect wine tour for your experience and preferences. It's an all around great experience!
