Unfortunately I do not speak Spanish or Basque and the tour to the farm/factory was all in those two languages so the film shown at the farm was incomprehensible to me. The guide/driver did speak English but he could not devote his time to me or speak over the commentary on the film. The Idiazabal is sheep's cheese and un-pasteurised so I didn't think I could bring it back into the UK but in this I was wrong I could have brought some home for personal use, the samples I had at the farm were delicious, I'm sorry I did not buy some. The tourist office who sold me the tour were confused when I returned to them to tell them about the tour they apparently thought the tour would be in English, clearly they did not know what they had sold me! The tour started at a lookout but it was raining and the view was obscured by the low cloud and heavy rainfall. We were exceptionally lucky to see a heard of sheep being driven up to the hills for the summer, this occurs at the start of May, shepherd leading and Basque sheep dog at the rear of the flock.
