A must-do tour if you are visiting San Sebastian! You will visit a Txakoli Winery located in one of the most breathtaking sceneries in the entire Coast of Gipuzkoa. We will tour the region that gives name to the Txakoli with Designation of Origin “Getariako Txakolina” and will admire its spectacular vineyards overlooking the sea. In the cellar, you will learn about the elaboration process of Txakoli, which is derived from a 100% native variety of grape, followed by a tasting paired with local traditional appetizers. After the winery visit, we will take a stroll through the beautiful fishermen's village of Getaria. Hotel pick-up and drop-off is included.

    We will head to the region that gives name to the Txakoli wine to take a guided visit of a Txakoli winery and admire spectacular vineyards overlooking the sea. After the guided visit at the Txakoli winery, we will head to the city center of Getaria for a short guided stroll through this charming fishermen's village.

Go Basque worked with me to customize our tour experience to include two wineries and a lunch stop. (Quite patiently too I'll add, since our group had quite a few variables to work through.) The tour day ended up being exactly what I'd hoped for and our tour guide, Ander, was great -- very personable and great at anticipating our needs.

Fui a visitar la Bodega Txomin Etxaniz en Guetaria, fue una experiencia extraordinaria. Todo estuvo muy bien organizado. El Txacoli es de excelente calidad, junto con diferentes variantes ofrecidas. La vista de la propiedad a los campos de cultivo y al mar es asombrosa. Este es un paseo muy recomendado.
