    Murdeira is geographically located at the centre of the island. It´s Bay is bathed with crystal waters and filled with corals, enabling marvelous conditions for the practice of snorkeling. Apart from the mention above, you can easily see “Monte Leão” from there, one of the greatest marks of the island.

    Well, now is time to go more to the north and meet with the City of Espargos, where you we’ll be in a local tour ending in a panoramic view of the city through the belvedere.

    The next stop is the fishing village of Palmeira, where you can find the only port of the island.

  • Buracona: The Blue Eye of Cabo Verde Shop, Cape Verde
    To the East of Palmeira, we can spot Buracona a place with natural pools and an incredible rocky landscape of volcanic origin. This combination allows us to enjoy the wonderful phenomenon called "Blue Eye". From 11 am to 1:30 pm the sun shines inside a cave 20 meters’ deep, allowing you to glimpse the image of a shiny blue eye staring at the majestic sky.

    More to the west of the island is “Terra Boa”, the only land for growing crops and there you can enjoy another spectacle of nature, a "Mirage" in the middle of the desert.

We hadden een zeer fijne groep tijdens deze uitstap. Er waren veel stops, maar toch was het niet zo vermoeiend. Tijdens de rit van de ene naar de andere stop was er tijd genoeg om te relaxen. Dankzij deze uitstap zie je de belangrijkste zaken van het eiland. Een absolute aanrader als je het eiland wil verkennen onder begeleiding van een lokale gids.

During our recent vacation in Cape Verde, my partner and I had the opportunity to take two incredible tours with Spot Travel, a local tour company. Their professionalism and dedication to providing authentic, immersive experiences made our time on the island truly unforgettable. The first tour we took was an island tour, guided by the exceptional Calu. His in-depth knowledge of the island's history, culture, and natural wonders made the journey both educational and engaging. Our second tour with Spot Travel was a thrilling catamaran trip that allowed us to explore the island's waters and witness its magnificent marine life. During the excursion, we had the unforgettable experience of seeing a whale up close, which was truly awe-inspiring.
