    Ponta Preta ("Black point" in english) gets its name from the color of the many black volcanic rocks and is the most beautiful and favorite beach of the surfers and windsurfers who enjoy the amazing high waves during the winter. Based on the season the appearance of this beach changes completely: during the winter, the high and long waves coming over the beach, take the black sand from the sea bottom, while during the summer the ocean is calm and the beach is almost completely gold.

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • May be operated by a multi-lingual guide
  • All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. Minimum weight is 47kg and maximum weight is 117kg.

  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Very much enjoyed our Segway tour - never used one before but our guide was very efficient in teaching us how to ride it. The route is straightforward - going down to the beach was so nice. Would definitely recommend doing this, you won't regret it.
