Our highly qualified and bilingual guide offers you an unforgettable, intercultural experience with the Seviaka indigenous people followed by a Tubing trip down the Palomino River in the middle of the nature reserve. You help the local indigenous community with your tour booking because we donate a percentage to social projects.

Please be aware the pickup point will be around an area of 2 kilometers around Palomino. We do not pick up from Santa Marta or Riohacha.

If you want to get picked up from Santa Marta to Palomino, we can arrange a private transportation for an additional cost of 100 USD return or 50 USD one way. Otherwise you can take the public bus. Just let us know in time.

Wir haben das Tubing NIRGENDWO anders in der Kombination gesehen mit dem Besuch eines indigenen Dorfes. Da wir schon von den Tonguekas so angetan waren, haben wir gleich das zweite indigene Dorf bei Palomino besucht und wurden wieder nicht enttäuscht. Sicherlich machen diese Tour viele Freundesgruppen. Aber als Familie haben wir das Tubing sehr genossen. Der Aufstieg ist etwas mühselig - vor allem, wenn man ein kleines Kind bei den Temperaturen noch bespaßen. Aber der Tour Guide hat uns super unterstützt und den Weg kurzweilig gestaltet. Das abschließende Tubing war der erfrischende Abschluss - immer wieder!

Tubing gehört zu Palomino wie der Fisch ins Wasser. Man kann an jeder Ecke das lokale Tubing buchen, aber nicht mit der Indigenen Dorf-Tour - und erst recht nicht mit englischsprachigem Guide! Der Aufstieg ins Dorf war etwas beschwerlich, weil ich nicht sehr sportlich bin und schnell schwitze. Aber in den Bergen bieten die dichten Bäume Schutz vor Sonne und Hitze. TIPP: Nutzt aufjedenfall die Möglichkeit zur Erfrischung, wenn ihr am Flussufer vorbei lauft ;) Das Dorf ist spektakulär und die Indigenen Kinder sehr zugewandt. Wir waren die einzige Gruppe, sodass es nicht sehr touristisch überlaufen war. Danach ging es weniger anstrengend wieder zurück: Per Tubing. In einem großen Reifen ging es den Rio Palomino wieder herunter, entlang an wunderschönen, menschenleeren Sandufern und aus dem Wald schallenden Affenschreien. Wirklich beeindruckend und ich habe mich so entspannt, dass ich komplett das Zeitgefühl verloren habe... Im Anschluss sind Wir alle noch ein wenig am Strand geblieben, denn da endet das Tubing. Fazit: Wer etwas über die Indigenen rund um Palomino erfahren will und im Riesenreifen danach entspannen möchte, dem lege ich diesen Ausflug sehr ans Herzen!
