Our day will get to its end not without having the food this town is the most famous for: chorizo santarrosano. Visit one of the best local food stands in the area, taste and learn fun stories about how it became so popular.

    After a short walk near the mountains, you will get to the first one where a small waterfall will be running water into dozens of hot tubes, all of them at different temperatures. The second one will need a short hike to the foot of a different hot waterfall. It is well known that thermal springs minerals help cleansing your body of toxins and improve oxygenation and blood flow. And, of course, the sole purpose of coming to the hot springs is actually be on them, so, after all the talking we will give you time enough for you to take a break and only focus on yourself.

An absolutely amazing place. A nature therapy for tranquility and relaxation. The waterfall is quite remarkable. The thermal waters are peculiar and out of this world.

Un lugar para visitar sin duda alguna, sin embargo hay aspectos por mejorar como el transporte y la comida. El transporte al lugar es por medio de jeeps (cuando no llevas tu propio vehículo) y estos no tienen un horario o están disponibles en las horas de salida del balneario, lo cual se vuelve un poco angustiante al pasar los minutos. Hay un bus que pasa cada hora, sin embargo este suele pasar con cupos completos y no para. En general llegar al termal es algo tedioso si no tienes transporte propio. En mi experiencia pague transporte hasta el terminal de Pereira, luego bus hasta santa rosa y finalmente transporte hasta el termal siendo 3 transportes para un destino tan turístico! Por otra parte la comida me pareció simple, se nota que hay una preparación en masa lo cual hace q te entreguén platos re calentados y básicos. El sabor estuvo bien pero se puede mejorar la calidad.

The view was amazing! We enjoyed basking in the thermal pools. We got great photos. Mauricio was our driver for the day and made getting there and back so much easier! We appreciated him getting us in so quickly, and stopping at a good photo spot on the way home, as well as suggesting a wonderful spot for lunch with a gorgeous view. Great trip!
