So to begin with the boat was old and dinged up which okay this won't ruin experience, got on the boat and the "drinks" were 1 bottle of rum and one bottle of sprite and no food or water. Took off to the first stop where the guide just took pictures of us following us (we didn't request or want a photographer), then they had no snorkeling gear only two old masks, we asked to just make a pit stop on the way to the island and that was a fight with the captain to just stop real quick for the guys to snorkel. Finally he did. There was no music, either they didn't want us to put any or it was broken as they said. Saona was beautiful but very very touristy trap. The guide kept coming up to us and eating some of the food we brought with us and then took my husbands snorkel gear and used it on his own, we were shocked so we didn't say anything. Captain was actually nice once you got him talking. On the way back they made it seem like we would be making a stop to go to the bathroom, it was another tourist trap as well as a way to give the tour guide a ride home (which isn't a big deal but let us know not make us feel tricked), driver was very nice though and on time. I'm an avid traveler that has rented boats from various different countries and this one was by far the worst. I also don't feel comfortable the "tour guide" aka photographer took a gazillion pictures and once we said no now he has those? It was just a weird experience.
