Ksamili, this hidden gem is located on the Albanian Riviera, and it sure is one of the best beach destinations in Europe. Once there, you can enjoy Paradise beaches offering white sand and crystal clear water. It is almost impossible not to like Butrint. The site is so complex, with remains dating from different periods covering 2500 years that everyone is sure to find something which they will remember forever. Even if you are not interested in archaeology, you will enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, the scent of eucalyptus and other trees among the ruins. The Blue Eye is an unusual underwater spring where the clear blue water of the river bubbles forth from a stunning, more than fifty-meter-deep pool. Castle of Lekuresi which dates back to the 16th century features imposing round towers and sweeping views.

We can also pick you up at Saranda port if you are visiting the town on a cruise ship as our office is just next to the port ,or you are a daily visitor entering the town from a seaway like from Corfu from example.

  • Lekuresi Castle, Saranda, Albania
    The castle is on a strategic hill point overlooking the town of Saranda, southeast of the town center. From here one can have a view of the whole town as well as the islands of Ksamil and Corfu in Greece.

  • The Blue Eye, Vlore, Albania
    It is a water spring with clear blue water of the river bubbles forth from a stunning, more than fifty-meter-deep pool. Divers have descended to fifty meters, but it is still unclear what the actual depth of the karst hole is.The immediate area (180 ha) is a nature reserve and is characterized by oak and sycamore trees.

    Here we will examine the Trionch Palace, the Baptistery, the Basilica, the City Walls and Gates, the Acropolis and lots of other spots.

We did the tour with Mara, from Joel travel on 4th April and everything was fine. She taught us many things, she had a very good level of English and she shared with us a high level of knowledge about the blue eye and Butrint and about culture in Albania. I would recommend it.

Yes, you get to visit Butrint, Blue Eye Springs, Ksamil, and Lekuresi Castle. Our guide and driver were both good. But there were 8 of us (4 purchasers) that thought we were getting a private tour and we ended up in one van. There was no WiFi on the van. These may seem minor but the name and description are misleading, which is why I gave it a 3 out of 5. Also beware that the walk to Blue Eye Springs is quite long, and 2 in our group decided to leave after that. At least the company came to drive them back. There is a lot of driving between places. It is a good overview but be aware that it is not private. One couple wanted to swim longer at Ksamil while the other 4 of us were concerned with returning to the ship - that's the only problem.
