    Archaeological excursion to discover the Sardinian prehistory. A visit to the nuraghe of the area, ancient stone building symbol of the Sardinian people, dating back over 3 thousand years ago. These imposing monuments, built with the technique of dry stone walls, reveal the particularity and complexity of a proud people never forgotten by history. The Bitan Daily Tours offers different itineraries, chosen according to the participants' family and physical needs. At the end of the excursion, the group leaders will offer "Sa Picchettada," the typical Sardinian picnic. Your local guide will be keen to make the tour as personal as possible. He will assist you with his expertise and recall amusing anecdotes for you before driving you back to your hotel. I had an amazing tour with guide Junior today. He made the trip really interesting, he has lots of info about Nuraghees and you can tell he is really passionate about his work. Besides, on our way there he was telling a lots of interesting stories about other things in Sardinia so I wasn't bored for a minute.

We recently organised a retreat in Sardinia for a group of seven professional colleagues. As part of this, we wanted a day of activities locally. Bitan organised a nuraghe archaeological tour and also a lunch and a visit to the wild horse park nearby. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful as was the driver. We really enjoyed the understanding they gave us of the history and culture of Sardinia. Bitan could not have been more responsive, in touch continually by email and on the day. We never worried about arrangements and they were always punctual. Bitan also handled additional special requests for us, including airport pick-up and drop-off and also organising a chef to cook for us two of the nights so that we could concentrate on our professional activities. None of these were a problem, and everything went really well. All of this adds up to a very high recommendation for Bitan -- based on our experience we are confident to recommend that others will be well taken care of and to a very high standard.
