The trip was wonderful because our guide Franco was perfect. He arranged a trip that had deep meaning, and unique personal experiences. We realized very early on that we were in the hands of a true professional who quietly anticipated our needs. He was also someone we ALL enjoyed being with/ a real bonus. We loved Sardinia. and are grateful to Franco for making the trip so special.

We had the best day with Franco our very knowledgeable guide, on our trip to the Blue Zone of Aritzo. A wonderful village high up in the mountains, full of history, filled with beautiful people. We met Carlos who is a wood carver who makes the most stunning pieces. I met an 96 year old man on the street who, after talking to him for a few minutes, wanted me to come and live in Aritzo so he could teach me Italian if I would teach him English!! ???? How could I refuse a delightful offer?? We were generously invited in to the local family of Francesco and Vittoria. We made bread, three different types of pasta, then ate the most deliciously simple organic meal you could imagine. We spent hours talking about the ways of life of the many octogenarians who call this quaint and beautiful village their home. Absolutely loved every minute we spent with this wonderful family. Sad to leave, but our homemade pasta, bread, a little wine, wild boar and Sardinian love poured into every bite, this highlight of our Sardinian adventure will live long in our hearts and memories. Best tour I have ever been on !!! Don’t miss it.

What an excellent experience from start to finish! We got picked up outside of our Airbnb where the service was friendly the whole ride to the village. We stopped, had coffee, and engaged in good conversation about Sardinian culture. Once we arrived, we were shown around the village, met locals, and visited a museum. So much knowledge about the local culture! We then made pasta and had a lunch of multiples courses with great wine. It really felt as if we were a part of the family. I would recommend this experience to all with 5/5 stars.
