In the Supramonte of Urzulei you can appreciate the calcareous landscapes of Campu Oddeu and Campos Bàrgios. With the animals in the wild: goats, horses, cows, sheep, pigs and donkeys, which will meet along the road, it will seem to be on a safari. You then reach the Sa Sedda de as bacas site full of attractions such as: a monumental yew tree and the nuragic site of Su campu de sa Càrcara, the Sa Sedda de as bacas sheepfold and a unique karst phenomenon: the fairytale Pischina Gurthàddala . The hike continues until you reach the panoramic points of Tròcari and S’Ischina de s’Arraica: from here you can admire the immense scenery dominated by the Gorropu gorge. It is, without doubt, the wildest part of the island, between the territories of Orgosolo and Urzulei, in a Neolithic landscape, marked by the nuraghi Mereu and Presetu Tortu, from the primary forest of holm-oaks of Sas Baddes, from the Su Cunnu de s 'Ebba and from the stratifications of Sa Giuntura.

    Panoramic route - easy excursion, off-road departure with the guide from the Base Camp Gorropu (ss 125 km 190.500). After having covered a panoramic stretch of the SS 125, you enter the Supramonte of Urzulei to appreciate the calcareous landscapes of Campu Oddeu and Campos Bàrgios. With the animals in the wild: goats, horses, cows, sheep, pigs and donkeys, which will meet along the road, it will seem to be on a safari. Once you reach the Sa Sedda de as bacas site you will face an easy trek of about 1 km, full of attractions such as: the monumental yew tree and the tomb of the giants of Su campu de sa Càrcara, the sheepfold of Sa Sedda de as bacas and a unique karst phenomenon: the fairy-tale Pischina Gurthàddala. The hike continues until you reach the panoramic points of Tròcari and S’Ischina de s’Arraica: from here you can admire the immense scenery dominated by the Gorropu gorge. La Gola di Gorropu è davvero impressionante con la sua bellezza maestosa e selvaggia. Ripide scogliere, sentieri tortuosi e natura incontaminata rendono questo luogo un paradiso per gli amanti del trekking. Un'esperienza da non perdere.

Half an hour of dirt road in off-road: already the outward journey is an experience only this... the road is carved into the mountain overlooking the valley below and offers very suggestive views and at the same time scary... in short, if you suffer from dizziness and various fears there is to suffer! Getting out of the Range Rover we are waiting for about 3km on foot in a flat mixed route with inaccessible moments and others by adventurous means: you need suitable shoes, good autonomy, water, light clothing and a good dose of courage... doing it alone (my children ahead and my sister behind) is still fun, it lets you admire the view and be alone with yourself in silence; in some places getting off and up is tough but fun and challenging. Arrived at the entrance of the gorge (the water outlet to be precise) you have the opportunity to take a short walk to the water holes left by the rains and the river (in any case cold water) and get to the source of drinking water to recharge the bottles and refresh the mind... or go into the gorge, first with the green path and then with the yellow one... The green is quiet and there is little to "climb" but the yellow is more complicated and you need to climb the rocks to pass from one point to another: I repeat, fun and challenging! red is closed and impossible to travel without equipment. Then you do the route backwards and, the last part, in Range Raver, if you sit in the backseat it allows you to understand where you've passed. Experience to Try
