Karla and Amy met us at the Walmart Parking lot and got us safely on the bus for the ride to Sayulita. Once there we saw a good balance of “touristy” stuff and great vistas for photography. Karla has great energy and is extremely knowledgeable about local history as well as full of recommendations for seeing, eating and shopping. Having Amy, a native English speaker along was super helpful for two somewhat dazed American tourists. Karla matched our slow pace and gave us time to meander. The lunch stop at Mary’s was perfect and my chicken salad was as good a meal as I’ve had on any vacation. The whole experience was lovely. Highly recommended. (Would also recommend any of the Food Tours that Karla does in Puerto Vallarta.)

This trip was fun, interesting, and well worth the time. Sayulita has much to offer as a small town. The beach is beautiful. We ate at a restaurant right on the beach. The food was delicious and inexpensive. There are many shops and restaurants as well as street crafts. It is easy to walk around. There is easy bus access from Puerto Vallarta. Our guide, Glenn, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I’m a photographer and he pointed out many excellent shots.
