    Once you book your tickets, check your email for instructions to ensure a carefree visit with us. Meet at Clearwater Beach Municipal Marina. Check in 45 minutes prior to your scheduled departure at our ticket booth to receive your boarding pass(s). We pre board all passengers for a safety talk and then throw the lines off exactly at departure time! As we motor out of the Marina our First Mate will work on raising our sails. We then navigate Clearwater Pass between the barrier islands of Sand Key and Clearwater Beach to head offshore :) Once outside of the Clearwater Pass the Captain will shut down the engine and we will be completely under sail power. It is a unique and beautiful perspective of Clearwater Beach offshore. You may even catch a glimpse of Bottlenose Dolphins feeding or at play in the wake of our Schooner!

  • Passengers must be physically able to navigate a long narrow dock and stairs to board the boat. Weight restrictions of 275 pounds per person will apply. Once on board you will need to be able to move about on uneven deck surfaces, climbing down a 2-foot-deep step into our seating area, and then a 2 foot step back up on to the deck. Loose fitting clothing and flat soft soled shoes are best, no heels or flip flops, you may go barefoot onboard.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

This was an amazing afternoon trip!! Captain Mark and Kyle were so nice and friendly. Sailing along the coast was relaxing and peaceful. The view of the coast was spectacular. We had perfect weather. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend the 30th anniversary of my 21st birthday!! Thanks again Schooner Clearwater for making the day special.

It’s not far down to paradise, at least not when you’re on the Schooner Clearwater. What a fantastic experience! This will be my welcome present to my guests for now on when they visit me in FL. Captain Mark loves sailing and he embraces the trip with enthusiasm, fun, and a sense of adventure. The ship is beautiful - and you will actually go sailing! You will glide around the gulf with the craft under full sail power. There is room to move about and explore. The first mate Cory was friendly and helpful as well. From my perspective, The Schooner Clearwater is one of the top rated things to do in Clearwater Beach! Highly recommended! Literally the best sailing charter I’ve ever been on!
