The tour begins when the schooner leaves the Salvador Nautical Terminal towards Ilha dos Frades. A contemplative walk inside the Baía de Todos os Santos, at the exit we have the São Marcelo Fort, the city of Salvador seen from the sea, the Itapagipe peninsula which houses the Monte Serrat Fort, the Bonfim Church and other attractions. We head towards Ilha dos Frades where calm, crystal clear waters invite us for a swim, as well as a snack and a cold drink, we stay for around 5 hours. Just relax on the sands and warm waters of the island of Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe. Climb the stairs and visit the chapel whose patron saint is the same saint and has an incredible view. At 3pm our guide will call you for boarding. On the way back, you can enjoy the sunset at Baía de Todos os Santos. Time Salvador - Island - 1:40. Note: The Tour can only be purchased up to 12 hours before departure. DOES NOT INCLUDE : Salvador terminal boarding tax; Entrance fee Ilha dos Frades; Lunch, drinks and snacks.

I was mistaken. Did not have the tour just Frade Island. They put Itaparica together and the price of the tour with itaparica was R$30 cheaper.

It was nice and peaceful the trip to the island of frades, everyone could go visit it is good help to relax and does good health. I went and came back well.

The island is beautiful but I who already came from Morro de Sao Paulo was not surprised. It is better Morro de Sao Paulo, I think it would have been better to spend another day in Morro. I put 3 stars because as other comments say they put a little pressure on you to go to restaurants. I didn't go. You just have to know how to say no. The tour comes with a free umbrella and you insist those in the umbrella go to their restaurant: Five times we said no. Prices are not VERY high but not low, for that price you can eat very well in Salvador. And worst of all: restaurants have no view of the beach! So you get lost on the beach for eating, that's why I didn't go.
