The booking fee includes the costs of booking your tickets such as charges for payment processing. It also covers the provision of our customer care center for processing your order, and all charges imposed by our suppliers.

Our Castle Tour enables you to skip the line into Scotland's most iconic fortification. The 1h30 long tour will cover the 3000 year history of Edinburgh Castle and the significant role it has played in shaping Scotland.
Tour leaves from our start point at 192 High Street, by the statue of Adam Smith.

Tour departs from outside Café Nero on the Royal Mile besides the statue of Adam Smith. Just look for our green and white umbrellas.
Castlehill, Edinburgh EH1 2NG, UK You will be guided through the grounds of Edinburgh Castle. It is worth to note that we can not take you inside any of the Caste Buildings (no tour operator can) but we will give you the rich history of the Castle, it's place in Scottish history and many of it's more unusual tales so that after the tour you will be able to explore the Castle with a much deeper understanding than a casual visitor. 60 minutes

Although much of the tour is done inside the castle complex, this will not be under cover.
Bags over 30L in volume are not permitted inside the castle and the castle does not provide a locker system for the storage of luggage.

Edinburgh Castle is built on top of the core of an old volcano, the ground is often uneven and at times steep. Be prepared to be on your feet for the full duration of the tour. People with mobility issues may not get the most from this tour.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Our tour guide was excellent! While we followed his “long flowing hair,” he educated us on hundred of years of history while entertaining us all along. The castle itself was impressive. All in all, it was an excellent tour that I would absolutely recommend!

Fiona was a wonderful guide! Not only so knowledgeable about Edinburgh and the castle but so funny and genuine!! Highly recommend as she tells stories you wouldn’t otherwise know :)
