This tour introduces you to mountain biking and the Aberdeenshire landscape. We set-up a full suspension mountain bike for you and teach you some simple techniques so you can go anywhere off road. We ride the off-road trails around the estate learn about its history, the landscape and the fauna and flora. You will ride past the mansion house, through the northwest gate, and on up to the stone-age hill fort.
  • Macdui Bike Adventures provides modern, high specification mountain bikes. They have full suspension, low gear ratios and off-road tyres. We provide helmets and gloves.
  • Please make sure you are prepare for the weather, we do not provide warm clothing or sun scream.
  • Please bring your own snacks - a cereal bar and water will be perfect.

Mike was a great instructor and myself and partner really enjoyed our morning cycling ride. Will be back in future.

Mike came to our home to help teach our two youngest boys to ride. Mike made adjustments to the bike so their seat was at the right height and the brakes were comfortable. The boys had fun playing games and doing activities that were helping them to find their balance. We now should be able to encourage them to use their bikes more and progress to putting the pedals back on. Thanks for your help Mike.

Mike's bikes are really high spec and well maintained (practically brand new). As a road rider, I'm strong on the bike but a bit of a chicken off road. Under Mike's friendly coaching I was able to trust the bike and myself a lot more to enjoy the ride fully. Countryside, views were amazing definitely gave me a longing to explore more off road.
