    sometimes referred to as the Glen of Weeping, was the scene of the infamous 'Massacre of Glencoe' in 1692. The Glen has a number of viewing stops on the road through the valley, and the National Trust for Scotland has a visitor centre along the main route.

    After our stop at Fort Augustus and Loch Ness, the tour will begin it’s return journey south. You will pass by Loch Laggan, the set for the internationally recognised ‘Monarch of the Glen’, before making a stop in picturesque Pitlochry, a delightful Victorian resort town.

    After crossing Loch Leven at Ballachulish, we stop for lunch in the Fort William area before following the course of the Caledonian Canal up the Great Glen to Fort Augustus on Loch Ness. Here we will cruise on the loch for an hour or so, or enjoy the tranquil little village on the banks of Loch Ness. Please note, this part of the tour may be subject to change due to weather conditions in the winter months.

Magnifique journée avec de superbes paysages. Notre chauffeur Brendan était super, il a su nous amuser avec ses anecdotes, ses histoires, ses chansons et son humour. Il a également su nous décrire les paysages et nous arrêter dans les meilleurs endroits pour prendre de magnifiques photos. ????

We had an amazing day! Our guide, Brendan, was so good, funny, informative, full of stories, interesting historical facts. He made many little stops for picture taking and explained very clearly timing when we stopped in the morning and for lunch. He even sang us all a song on the way back to Edinburgh! Would highly recommend. Ask for Brendan!
