We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Orkney. Our guide was knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and shared some fun local knowledge with us. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Great day in Orkney and I highly recommend for a great experience.

Garry was a fantastic tour guide. Extremely welcoming and great conversationalist. We visited all the places I had in mind and more. I feel closer to Orkney because of my experience on this tour.

I was on this trip with my parents (had to select friends since TripAdvisor seems to think you can't travel as family unless there are children or teenagers along) and we wanted something a little more personal than an excursion offered through the cruise line.
This tour was the best choice we could have made!
Chris, Garry's dad, was our guide. He was awesome! He knows so much and it is so, so obvious how much he loves his home.
He never made us feel like we had to rush and always had a story to tell when we had to slow down a bit.
We saw everything we wanted- Standing Stones of Stennes, Ring of Brodgar, Skara Brae, Skaill House (though a heads up there. If you are like me and have allergies, be prepared with kleenex at Skaill House. When I started sneezing within a few minutes, the staff said it happens a lot), and our big must see- the beautiful Italian Chapel. The scenery along Scapa Flow is gorgeous and Chris had plenty of historical facts to share about it as we drove along.
In summary: Great tour, awesome guide, would highly recommend!
