Hogwarts Express and Scottish Highlands Tour from Edinburgh

Simply incredibly beautiful! Our tour guide Euan drove us through the beautiful Scottish Highlands and enchanted us with all his stories. In between, there was really good music, which was great because it went with the beautiful views. People you won't believe me, you haven't seen these views before!!! Every now and then we took breaks and could walk around, go to the toilet or get food and drinks. When we arrived in Mallaig we boarded the Jacobite Steam Train (Hogwarts Express) towards Fort William. To make sure that everyone has their place on the train, our guide even came in and checked if everything was ok. The driveway was absolutely amazing anyway. We had really good weather and, just like in the film, a lady came with a trolley full of snacks, drinks and souvenirs. The only thing missing was for the lady to say: Heeere comes the serving trolley! ???? It was over as quickly as it started. Our guide picked us up in Fort William and we drove back to Edinburgh. But no reason to be sad. The return journey was just as beautiful as the outward journey. The entire planning was great from start to finish! And if someone had a concern, such as turning the air conditioning off/on, you could just talk to Euan. He even bought us water for the return trip, which I thought was really cool, because that's not something we take for granted. It is an incredible experience for all Harry Potter fans. But also highly recommended for everyone else! ???? I've described everything in a bit more detail now, but with such an incredible trip and good care, it's nice to take the time to give a good review. Connor was such a great tour guide and really made the experience. I have been on a lot of other bus tours where the driver rarely speaks and is not as knowledgeable, but that was not the case here. Connor was fantastic and really tried to make sure we had a great time. He was always giving history and background on where we were in the highlands and sprinkled in Harry Potter and Outlander facts along the way. He kept things light and interesting and included some puns, jokes, and stories along the way. He was an overall amazing tour guide and I would recommend the activity just for him. Seeing the Scottish Highlands was absolutely amazing and they were so beautiful. As a Potterhead (Harry Potter Fan) I couldn't wait to ride the official Hogwarts Express (Jacobite Steam Train) and it was really a dream come true. There was so much to do and so much to see that I just soaked in every minute of it. It was not a walking heavy trip so I recommend this tour to people of all ages. I absolutely loved every minute and it is easily top 5 memorable moments of trip to the UK. I 100% recommend and if possible ask for Connor!

Loved the trip! Special thanks to our fantastic guide, Connor, who definitely contributed to this experience being memorable. He is really good at explaining, making jokes and in general telling stories in a very interesting way. I was particularly impressed when I saw him cleaning areas whenever we made stops. You can see they really love their country. We had a wonderful journey with breathtaking views, interesting stories and useful references. Saw a few Harry Potter places that were featured in the films. learned interesting facts about Scotland and in general had a great time. The only thing that was slightly disappointing is that the stop in Mallaig was a bit too short, but that's understandable as otherwise we would have needed to depart even earlier in the morning! Considering that I would say the timing was actually good. Thanks a lot for your work. Would definitely consider travelling with you again! And would love to have the same guide, who is phenomenal.
