I had a lovely time with John at Kartel. He was so easy to talk to and didn’t in any way rush you to make a choice. The hospitality was great too. I had a coffee and then a very nice whisky. I’m very happy with my watch and bought an extra watch strap. Very easy to change the straps. I’ll be going back for another strap in a few months.

Bought this as a gift for my partner, we both really enjoyed the experience, designing and building our own watches with John! Even got them engraved too, fab value for money, would highly recommend!

I came across this experience on Airbnb when booking a weekend away for my girlfriends birthday and couldn't believe this was actually a possibility nearby. We both loved the experience and came away with personalised watches that we are very happy with. Dale was very informative, helpful and friendly as well as patient as we took our time to choose our watch elements before assembling them. There was even a selection of drinks including quality whisky and beer as well as snacks provided as part of the experience. Great value for your money.. for the price of a watch you get a high quality experience including a dram or 2 if you wish..
