Your trek to the bioluminous bay leaves at 5:30 PM in winter months and 6:30 PM in the summer months from the Cayman Island Yacht Club Slip B43. Enjoy a beautiful Cayman sunset on the way to Starfish Point. Bring your own beverage, light dinner or snack to enjoy on the boat or the beach. Coolers and ice water are provided. After leaving Starfish Point we head into the beautiful bio bay and spend 30-45 minutes in the bay. You can swim in the bay wearing a snorkeling mask and life vest or stay on the boat to view this amazing sight. Enjoy star-gazing on your journey back to the dock. You might even see a shooting star on a clear night! Tour is back at the dock by approximately 8:00 pm or 9:00 pm, depending on season and departure time. All guests are kindly asked to call and confirm their tour with us at least 24 hours prior to tour date. Please know that tours under ten passengers may not run. Thank you.

Great tour and guides - highly recommend the bioluminescent tour, such a unique experience that is hard to find anywhere else! We didn’t see as strong as a glow because we went on the last night of the lunar cycle but what we saw was still incredible (could not capture on film but still amazing to see).

Checked this off the list. Had to do this as so few places to see it. The crew from seafarers were courteous, helpful, efficient. Starfish point was a nice stop-learned about the interesting creatures in a comfortable shallow water setting. Bio bay is a high rent neighborhood surrounding our boat stop. The bio looked like small bubbles underwater until you swam through the darkened center of the boat. This is where they lit up. Neither place had jellyfish or mosquito issues. Bio was cool, glad I experienced it but not quite as spectacular as I imagined. The boat ride back was serene and peaceful.

Great communication, very informative about the sea stars and bioluminescence! Even though we were at the tail end of the moon / tide cycle, we could still see the glow under the boat!!
