Even a Seattle-ite needs to be a tourist. I might like to think I know everything about the market but this informative and delicious tour gave me a deeper appreciation of this Seattle landmark. Like eat? Like to learn? I recommend taking this tour. Too many highlights to list here. You must experience it for yourself. Take it from this skeptical Seattle-ite, take this tour!

Fascinating history, amazing food tastings (be prepared to leave full!), lots of laughs, and Tolkien references...you've got to do this tour! Even though I've visited the market before, this tour gave me a completely new perspective and appreciation for the crown jewel of Seattle. Matt is a true steward of Pike Place Market; his passion for and earnestness to share the community, history, and inner workings of the market made for a truly special experience. This is not your run-of-the-mill tour; this is the real deal and run by folks who love where they live and what they do. We loved everything we ate (coffee, donuts, Freya's pastries OMG, smoked salmon, tea, fresh fruit...) and felt it represented a fantastic sampling of what's at the market. We bought so much from the vendors/businesses afterwards!
