    The Legends of Smith Tower exhibits are being refreshed and are unavailable through May 15th. The world-famous Observatory and speakeasy-inspired bar remain open with access straight up the tower in the historic Otis elevators. On the 35th floor, you'll be welcomed by stunning views and an exhilarating opportunity to take in 360-degrees of Seattle and Puget Sound from the open-air observation deck. Stay awhile and enjoy a craft cocktail or share a plate from our fun, locally-inspired menu. Depending on visitor volume, there may be wait times to ride the elevator to the Observatory and be seated in the Restaurant & Bar.

This was a very interesting spot especially at night to see all the city lights. The speak east bar atmosphere was phenomenal. The food and drinks were fabulous. The elevator ride to the top just made me feel like I was walking out or into an old movie!

If you want to see Seattle, I highly recommend Smith Tower (“Tower”). The Tower in the earliest day was the tallest building before the Space Needle. I got lucky on the day of my visit. There were hardly people. At first , they’re four (4) people but we didn’t come at the same time on the elevator. I ended up having the observatory and the bar for myself. I have been to different observatories around the world, this was the first time I had it for myself. You’ll pass the historical figures resided in the It was brilliant idea to see the Seattle City streets from above. I saw the iconic or landmark structures esp the old ones. You can see the Mt. Rainier farther, the islands, the ferries, harbour, Chinatown, pier or ports, the historical areas of Seattle, old & modern architectural buildings, etc. The current tallest building is the Columbia Centre. That will be my next observatory I will visit.

The view, of course, was breathtaking, but the whole experience is building up to it: from the theatrical intro by the admission guy to impeccably preserved inside the offices and the elevator. Don't miss the chance to have a drink at the bar on the 35th floor.
