As you pass the many points of interest, your pilot will share legends of the land and historical tidbits that color the excursion. • Take a 30-minute helicopter flight over the Sedona desert. • Head south to the iconic Cathedral Rock. • Next, it’s on to Chapel of the Holy Cross, a towering chapel built right into the rock! • Swoop over Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte. • Spot the famous Snoopy Rock! • Cross Oak Creek Canyon and soar toward Devil’s Bridge. • From here, you’ll fly to Secret Canyon and ascend onto the Mogollon Rim. • Finally, approach Boynton Canyon and the Anasazi cliff dwellings!

This is our fourth visit to Sedona in 28 months. We just LOVE this magical place! This time, I decided to treat my husband with a surprise birthday gift… a helicopter tour of Sedona and the surrounding area. We got to see the natural beauty of the region from a different angle! Our pilot, Laura, gave us ample explanation and some historical facts. We highly recommend Guidance Air for their professionalism and their kindness. We will remember this fantastic experience for a long time!

SENSATIONAL! Happily will recommend for folks that move slow/have cane. As long as you can climb into a high/elevated SUV you'll be fine. What a treat! The woman who took care of intake was great. Get weighed (discreetly), watch a safety video and then she’ll drive you a couple hundred yards to airstrip and helicopter. Christian, our pilot, was just terrific. Obviously did a great job flying us through the epic red rock but also gave infinite, invaluable information on places to see in Sedona, history, the rock formations, incredible cliff dwellings, off-road/walking trails, etc. He is worth his weight in gold! The ride itself is such a unique, special opportunity and totally worth the expense. Thereafter you’re picked up and taken back where you parked. They’ll offer complimentary Alcoholic or non alcoholic drinks. There are also cute T-shirts and gorgeous photographs for purchase.
