Amazing 40th birthday trip and tour with Jose. We booked Jose for two separate private tours and he did not disappoint. His passion and knowledge for all things about the Azores and Sao Miguel is inspiring. My wife and I had the most amazing time as Jose easily and comfortably took us from one amazing location to another. His love of his country and easy going approach makes us want to come back for another tour as soon as possible!

Jose was a great guide, really friendly and professional. Most importantly, he was extremely knowledgeable about all thing Azores. We had a private, full day tour of Sete Cidades and Fogo lakes, which we’d highly recommend. It was a fantastic way of seeing things off the beaten track.

Jose is simply the best. He will do everything you expect from a tour guide and more. The only thing he won't do is...remove the fog from the craters in case it's there - but that's St. Peter's job to do! But seriously, if the weather does not cooperate, Jose has a variety of options to make your day memorable and will adjust the tour based on the conditions and your preferences. Luckily, there are so many amazing things to see on the island!
