I had high expectations for this ATV experience after hearing it was one of the best, so we made the three-hour trip to get there. The track itself was fine but harder than I anticipated, with steep terrain that required constant braking.
The whole ride was inhaling toxic exhaust fumes, making it hard to breathe and concentrate. ATV use petroleum gas or whatever toxic oil they use, but the exhaust pipe was aimed directly at the person behind you’s face.
I’ll admit my driving skills may have been part of the problem, as our ATV’s engine stalled twice. The first time, we were stuck at the entrance of a narrow cave deep in the bush for at least five minutes, calling for help. It wasn’t until the leader of the next group arrived that someone helped us. It took another 7–8 minutes for our group leader to find us and resolve the issue. While the staff did eventually swap out our ATV, the breakdowns disrupted the experience significantly.
Back at the lobby, they offered cold showers, toilets, and a free lunch. Lunch consisted of ¾ of an egg sandwich and some crinkle-cut fries, which felt a bit disappointing—why not a whole sandwich? That said, it was better than nothing.
Overall, the driving was decent apart from the mechanical issues, and the experience lived up to the hype.
