우붓 에코투어가 유명하다는 이야기를 듣고 낀따마니에서 출발하는 자전거투어을 검색하다가 리뷰를 보고 여기 조인하게 되었어요. 쉐어링 투어였는데 총 인원은 4명. 커피농장에 갔다가 뷰가 엄청난 음식점에서 간단한 아침식사를 합니다. 그리고 자전거를 타고요. 이후에는 발리 전통 가옥에 가서 주택 구조에 대한 설명을 듣고 현지식을 부페로 먹습니다. 음식 맛있어요. 위험하거나 너무 힘들까봐 걱정했는데 기우였습니다. 숙련된 투어 가이드가 앞장 서서 세심하게 길이 파인 곳, 급속한 커브, 오가는 큰 차량들을 알려줍니다. 교차로에서는 픽업차량 기사님이 안전요원을 자처해주셔서 편히 지나갔고요. 겁쟁이인데 위험한 순간은 없었습니다. 전부 다 포장도로이고 바람이 등을 떠밀어주는 코스가 대부분이라 한국에서 막 사이클링하고 그런 분 아니셔도 쉽게 즐길 수 있습니다. 그냥 조심히만 타시면 될 것 같아요. 풍경이 볼만하고 꾸따, 우붓 중심지에서는 만나기 힘든 발리인들의 삶도 엿볼 수 있습니다. 자전거 타다가 중간 중간 내려서 벼농사, 장례풍습 등 이것저것 설명도 해주고요. 토요일에 참여하면 할로 바이크 가족이 마을 아이들을 대상으로 운영하는 자원봉사 영어교실을 참관할 수 있는데 이게 백미예요. 애들 너무 귀엽습니다. 다들 조리 신고 편히 오는 분위기이니 편히 조인하세요. 선크림은 필수. 선글라스 추천. 가방은 차에 두고 타세요.
