    The drive will go to the first temple called Ulun Danu Temple. The driving will be around 2 hours from the main tourist area. It is a temple floating on the famous lake of Beratan. It is a very important temple of water to worship the Balinese water, lake and river goddess Dewi Danu, due to the importance of Lake Beratan as a main source irrigation in central Bali.

    Next, we drive around 40 to 60 minute to Stop at the widest rice terraces in Bali called Jatiluwih which has been acknowledged from UNESCO as part of the world’s cultural heritage in maintaining the local culture of irrigation system called Subak.

  • Luhur Batukaru Temple, Penebel, Indonesia
    Drive along the green hills around 40 to 50 minutes to reach Luhur Batukaru Temple just on the foothill of Mount Batukaru as the second highest volcano in Bali. This temple was built in 11th century and was dedicated to the ancestors of Rajas of Tabanan. Enjoy the area of temple with a peaceful sound of nature and far out of tourist place.

    The last destination is Tanah Lot Temple to see the best sunset in Bali. The driving from previous location is around 1 hour. It lies on the ocean that you can access only when it is in low tide. This 11th century temple shows you the most beautiful sunset experience in Bali. Drive back to your hotel around 1 hour depends on the traffic and your hotel location.

Highlight in Bali thus far! This was an amazing tour and our guide/driver for the day, Merta, made it that much more memorable! We got to see and experience true Balinese culture and history, and were amazed by the true beauty this island has to offer! During each visit along the way, Merta took the time to explain the history and significance of each beautiful place from Tanah Lot to Batukaru and Ulun Danu temples, and Jatiluwih Rice Terrace. The drive was also pleasant seeing all the sights and sounds Bali has to offer and having more great conversations with Merta and getting to know and appreciate Bali even more! Highly recommend anyone considering any tours to book with Hire Bali Driver and ask for Merta as your guide!

Excellent and friendly tour provided by Merta. We spent the day exploring temples and rice fields in Bali and ended the tour at one of the coffee plantations in the mountains. It was a great experience and highly recommended to anyone visiting the island ????

An amazing trip to the temples, rice fields, coffee plantation and a stop at the most incredible art gallery. Sakha was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Bali and shared current and relevant information about Bali and its people. Highly recommend both this itinerary and this driver/guide. Also he is a great photographer capturing your travel through Bali.
