Berata gave us a great tour of the Uluwatu temple area and placed us perfectly in the outdoor theater for the Kevak Fire Dance Show. We were then able to leave by a rear staircase and get our car for a rapid exit. Berata explained his culture and beliefs all the while driving expertly on the very crowded streets.

The Fire Dance theater is large but it is amazing how many people they can fit there. The dance was colorful and exotic. Luckily they provide you with a paper describing the story - you then can use the paper to fan yourself. The view of the sun setting into the ocean is beautiful. Our tour guide, Wayan Berata, did a great job with our tour. He was able to modify it to accommodate our preference of no beach. He really knows how to utilize shortcuts to get us to and from our destinations. A very pleasant and professional guide.
